With more than 40 years of experience in the electrical sector, our activity spans engineering, industrial process automation, electrical installations and industrial software.
- 1981ER Ingeniería founded
ER Ingeniería is born
ER was founded in 1981 thanks to the initiative and vision of its founder, Manuel Rojas Gómez. We began our activity in electrical engineering, low- and high-voltage installations and automation.
- 1993 - 2005Constant growth
Constant growth
Design and execution of cogeneration plants with 6 MW thermal engines, associated with industries, going on to develop trigeneration with a capacity of 62 MW.
Start of our collaboration with Grupo Felguera on the development of the Corporation of Strategic Reserves in Spain, expanding petrochemical plants such as BP in Castellón and Repsol in Cartagena.
Start of our collaboration with the multinational SPX, a leading company in the development of food processing facilities, contributing our experience in electrical automation installations, which leads us to work for the main brands in Spain such as Danone, Lactalis, Mahou, Hacendado…
EPC design and execution of the highest-capacity PV solar plant to date, “Casa del Ángel” (12 MWp). The first plant designed with string buses using outdoor tap connectors.
- 2007Integration into Renovalia
Integration into Renovalia
We joined Grupo Renovalia as ER Ingeniería EPC, taking on large wind and solar renewable power generation installations and developing projects end to end, including design, construction, operation and maintenance internationally. We have built more than 200 MW.
EPC design and execution of the highest-capacity PV solar plant to date, “El Quintillo” (52.5 MWp). The first plant designed with a pile-driven mounting system without the use of concrete.

ER Ingeniería goes international
Evolution into ER Ingeniería, strengthening specialisation in automation, process control and our own SUITER software, specialised in agri-food processes.
International leap in our collaboration with SPX on the electrical food process automation installations in Belarus, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, England…
More than 40 agri-food factories reached with our SUITER suite of programs, capable of integrating process automation, management and full traceability of the whole production system.
Start of the 126 MWp “Bolarque” solar PV plant, with ER Ingeniería in charge of the complete design and execution of the plant and the grid connection.
